Music & Fine Arts

Zion Cathedral’s Music and Fine Arts Ministry will exercise the Biblical patterns of Praise and Worship.

Singers: “Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.”  Psalm 149:1.

Musicians: “Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise Him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise Him upon the loud cymbals: praise Him upon the high sounding cymbals.”  Psalm 150:3-5.

Flag Ministry: “Announce and proclaim among the nations, lift up a banner and proclaim it.” Jeremiah 50:2, NIV. “May we shout for joy when we hear of your victory, flying banners to honor our God.  May the Lord answer all your prayers.” Psalm 20:5, NLT.

Dancers: “Let them praise his name in the dance…” Psalm 149:3. “Praise him with the timbrel and dance…” Psalm 150:4.

The Music and Fine Arts Ministry is to glorify, praise, and witness the word of God through song. To create and promote an atmosphere that is conducive for worship; to usher in the very presence of God. We will accomplish all of our goals by having a “prayer-first” approach to our ministry for we realize that the greatest thing we have is the presence of God.
